On April 9th 2022 the third NSZK of the 2021/2022 season took place! M.S.Z.V. Tiburón organized the amazingly successful weekend. This NSZK was the first NSZK since 2019 that went on in its original format – pre-drinks on Friday, a splashing competition on Saturday followed by a beer cantus with a party.
The third round of the NSZKs was won by M.S.Z.V. Tiburón with 1129.21 points. G.S.Z.V. Golfbreker came in second with 1151.4 points, closely followed by A.S.Z.V. SPONS taking third place with 1188.79 points. This means that Golfbreker now takes the lead in the championships standings with 28.19 points.
Tiburón was clearly in great shape as the broke not one but two Stichting NSZ records: the men’s 100- & 200 meter backstroke. Both records were around 10 years old and have now been broken by more than a second! The new record for the 100 meter backstroke is now accredited to Laurent Brams with 55.03. Koek Koster takes the 200 meter backstroke record with a 2:06.81.
